The article below is from "Things to Come" December 1906 titled "Notes on the Acts This of the Apostles. At this point Bullinger puts in writing he has moved away from his early "Acts 13" position to an "Acts 19" position. As many of you know Bullinger moves on to the "Acts 28" a couple years or so later.
It is my opinion that Bullinger should have stuck with the Acts 19 view, because it offers the better explanation of the "Jewish Stuff" Paul did and promoted in Acts 9-19 as compared to the Acts 2 and Mid Acts positions. The Acts 28 view also offers a consistent explanation of the "Jewish Stuff" of Paul, but the explanation is that Paul only knew, practiced, and wrote kingdom gospel doctrine during the Acts period. The Acts 28 view, in contrast to the "Acts 19" view, fails to allow Paul to have an overlapping kingdom ministry as well as mystery gospel ministry during the Acts period which the Acts record seems to indicate. For more information about my view of the parallel/overlap view of the kingdom program and mystery program see my post: "Why the Blog Name "Acts 20 Grace Believer"
