Some say Paul did not believe in hell, because he does not use the term in his writings. The truth of the matter is that Paul was not inspired to write about every subject already revealed in the Bible. For example, Paul says on at least two occasions there was no need for him to write about a particular subject. See the following:
1 Thes 4:9 "But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another."
1 Thes 5:1 "But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you."
Hell was a doctrine already revealed and established before Paul got saved, so why would he need to write about it. If there is any doubt about Paul's belief in hell consider what Paul states in Acts 24:14 "But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:"
Since hell is written about in the prophets, then Paul believed in hell according to the above verse.
